Councillor Sera Evans-Fear
Born and bred in Cwmparc, Sêra now lives in Treorchy. Sêra was educated at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Ynywen, Ysgol Gyfun Cymer Rhondda and Oxford, where she graduated in Modern Languages. Sera has taught German and French at secondary level and English in Germany. As District Manager for a large supermarket, she has business experience, and is, at present Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer at the University of Glamorgan. Sêra works with young people on a daily basis. She holds the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award and has won public speaking awards, including Best Speaker at the 2004 Young UK Programme. Sêra is a member of the Council's Education and Lifelong Learning Committee. Sêra is an enthusiastic, outspoken and caring councillor.
